Brent Ruby received his PhD in exercise science from the University of New Mexico in 1994 and now serves as the Director of the Montana Center for Work Physiology and Exercises Metabolism.

Guest Profile:
Dr Brent Ruby is a Professor and researcher based in Montana. Much of his research focuses on understanding the skeletal muscle interaction with environmental stress during exercise and recovery, the implications of high-altitude operations, heat stress injury risk profiling and reduction, and understanding the limits of human work during ultra-endurance events. Brent himself has been a runner and a cyclist. Apart from research, Brent is also the co-author of the children’s book Wrango and Banjo On the Fireline.
