In the previous run shorts episode, Vikas talked about running slow. We established that running slow for a long period of time is the single most important factor in building running endurance.
We all agree that volume is the single most important factor in progressing towards your potential. It is similar to building a strong base of a house for loading various floors on it. If the volume is the king, then the question is, “can you only focus on volume, and I will be the best runner possible?”
In the 3rd episode of RunShorts, our host Vikas Singh answers this question to explain how one needs to train for improving their running performance. Along with this, you will also understand making a rough estimation of your Maximum Heart Rate and using it in the 3-Zone Model for your training.
