In this episode of Run with Fitpage, we have Capt Harsha Vardhan, an accomplished runner who has participated in over 80 competitive half and full marathons. Capt Harsha discusses his running journey, right from how he started to running ultramarathons, with our host Vikas Singh.
Capt Harsha transitioned to ultra running in 2018 and has consistently pushed his limits, including completing over 4700 kilometers in 2023 alone. Notable achievements include finishing the Boston Marathon 2024 in an impressive 2 hours and 54 minutes, ranking first among Indian participants. He has also excelled in other events, such as winning his age category in the Tawang Marathon 2023, placing fourth overall in the Goa Ironman Relay 2023, and securing top positions in multiple editions of the Tata Mumbai Marathon. His endurance is showcased by winning the 12-hour Stadium Run 2023 with 117.8 kilometers and setting a course record at the Matheran Endurathon 2022. Capt Harsha embodies the motto “Running Is Believing,” inspiring many with his relentless pursuit of running excellence.
